Aelia continues expansion at Lille Lesquin

French duty-free retailer Aelia, has extended its retail contract at Lille Lesquin airport beginning April 2010.

The new contract will begin in April 2010. It covers a new enlarged multi-category outlet spread across 208 square meters, offering fragrances and cosmetics, liquor, tobacco, confectionery, gifts and travel accessories. Lille Lesquin airport serve centers of population in northern France and southern Belgium. It welcomed over one million passengers in total, in 2008. With over $855.058 million (600EUR) in annual sales, the company operates more than 160 outlets. The company has a broad portfolio of activities including the traditional activities of duty-free, (perfumes & cosmetics, alcohols & tobacco, food, media, fashion & accessories) on major travel networks, especially at airports. Aelia is present in 23 airports in France, Great Britain, Poland and Hong Kong. In particular, the company operates in activities duty free airport Paris-Charles de Gaulle and Paris-Orly, two of the first hub airports of continental Europe.
