Delhi Duty Free to slash prices of 20 Irish spirits until March-end

Delhi Duty Free, an India-based duty free retailer, has announced that it will offer over 20 different Irish spirits brands and a variety of chocolates for a discount as part of its ongoing 'Spirit of Ireland' festival.

The retailer has partnered with Bord Bia, the Ireland-based food board, to host the 15-day Irish Spirits festival that will begin on 17 March, 2011.

The Dublin-based food board is into promotion of Ireland's food and products in other countries.

The duty free shop will also offer Irish whisky collection at the launch event that coincides with St Patrick's Day.

As part of the festival, the retailer will also offer select products for tasting until the festival ends on 31 March, 2011.

Delhi Duty Free, located at Terminal 3 at the Indira Gandhi International Airport in New Delhi, already has a section for single malts.

The retailer also sells perfumes, cosmetics, confectionery, liquor, tobacco and select Indian merchandise.
