DFA signs new 10 year contract with OBPA
Travel retailer Duty Free Americas (DFA) has entered into a new 10-year agreement with Ogdensburg Bridge and Port Authority (OBPA).
The $1.9m contract allows DFA to continue operations of a duty-free store on the US side of the Ogdensburg-Prescott International Bridge, reported dfnionline.
Under the contract, DFA will invest in its facility and new signage to promote the store to customers using the international border crossing.
An increase in traffic on the bridge over five years due to the strength of the Canadian dollar has resulted in growing business for the duty-free store.
