RBR Staff Writer Published 08 October 2012

Travel retailer Gebr Heinemann has unveiled its new duty free store in Frankfurt airport terminal one’s pier A-plus slated to begin its operations on 10 October 2012.

The new flagship store offers a wide range of perfumes, cosmetics, spirits, confectionery and accessories marketed by leading international brands, reported DFNIonline.com.

A large scale fine foods section in-store will also make its debut at the store offering best-selling products by Fauchon, Hédiard, Fortnum & Mason and other suppliers.

Two new 500m² last-minute shops close to the gates and a Hermès boutique are also part of the retailers plans, who currently operates a store in the Schengen zone of the pier.

Gebr Heinemann believes that Frankfurt is the biggest marketplace they have in Germany and currently they have a portfolio of 34 shops besides large warehouse in Kelsterbach.

Aside from the store unveilings, the company is constructing a logistics centre in Erlensee, close to Frankfurt.
