Gosh Cosmetics plans winter launch for duty-free exclusives

RBR Staff Writer Published 02 August 2011

Danish cosmetics and fragrance company Gosh Cosmetics plans to expand its business in the travel retail channel in its native Scandinavia, and across the world. The launch of a range of travel-exclusive products in Travel Kits during winter this year is part of the company's new business strategy.

The cosmetics supplier claimed that the Travel Kits would retail at reasonable prices, and that they were ideal for travelling or as gift purchases, according to DFNI Online. There are plans to introduce other travel-retail products as well in the near future.

The beauty brand has also appointed former toy travel retail experience holder Heidi Wagner as the key account manager for the travel retail market. Wagner will be responsible for building up Gosh's sales in the channel, and refocusing its business in the duty-free segment, the website reported.
