Hudson Group opens new stores in JFK Terminal 1

Hudson Group, a wholly-owned subsidiary of Switzerland-based international duty-free travel retailer Dufry, has unveiled new stores at John F Kennedy (JFK) International Airport’s Terminal 1, as part of a new retail program.

The new stores at Michael Kors, Juicy Couture, Tumi and Victoria's Secret are open for business. A new Harley-Davidson store, developed in conjunction with 'Miracle Mile Harley of Great Neck, Long Island, is expected to open this summer.

The 934ft² Michael Kors store is said to be the brand's first free-standing shop, offering handbags and accessories of New York City's own Michael Kors.

The 940ft² Juicy Couture shop is the second Juicy in the airport. Known for making the velour tracksuit, the store offers expanded collection range of handbags, shoes, intimates, swimwear, accessories, sunglasses, yoga, fragrance and baby merchandise.

The Victoria's Secret shop, occupying 1,478ft² of retail space, is the company's third free-standing Victoria's Secret airport store in the US.

The stores offer travelers a wide assortment of Victoria's Secret beauty products, fragrances, and branded accessories, including small leather goods, bags and luggage, as well as apparel, in a sophisticated and glamorous setting.

The new 544ft² Tumi shop in Terminal 1 offers luggage, business cases, handbags, wallets, sunglasses and writing instruments.

The company will also focus on new Hudson News stores throughout the airport.

Hudson Group operates around 650 Hudson News, Hudson Booksellers, cafes, specialty retail and duty free shops in 70 airports and transportation terminals in the US and Canada, and additional news-stands in 12 more countries around the world.
