Inflight Service Poland to run duty stores at Warsaw airport

RBR Staff Writer Published 26 July 2012

Inflight Service Poland has won a six-year contract to run the duty free/travel retail stores at Warsaw Modlin Mazovia Airport in Poland.

Latest contract of the company, a 100% subsidiary of Inflight Service Europe, covers four airside outlets and one landside shop, reported DFNIonline.

The stores will stock alcohol, tobacco, confectionery, perfume, cosmetics and skincare, non-alcoholic beverages, accessories, newspapers, magazines, and souvenir items.

According to the company, the stores will be opened as soon as possible, as agreed with the Warsaw airport authority.

Inflight Service Europe chief executive Björn Ulfberg told the magazine that the firm is remodelling its retail offer and the new contract is great evidence of getting the whole concept right.

"Inflight Service has long and productive relationships with several other business partners in Poland and we are very much looking forward to establishing the same dynamic environment with Warsaw Modlin Mazovia airport," Ulfberg added.
