Lagerdere consolidates stores under LS Travel Retail brand

Published 11 February 2011

Lagerdere, a travel retail company, has consolidated its duty-free, convenience and specialty stores under the LS Travel Retail brand.

The move is part of a global rebranding of its travel-retail operations. The new entity, LS Travel Retail, will come into effect on 11 February. The company aims to maintain consistency in its brand operations across the world with this move.

The company's travel retail business has been restructured into regional divisions. The divisions are: LS Travel Retail ASPAC, operating in Asia-Pacific; LS Travel Retail EMEA, operating in Europe, Middle East and Africa and North America retail companies.

Each division will be led by its own chief operating officer and will be run by country-specific teams. Aelia, the French duty-free operator will remain part of the new LS Travel Retail EMEA division and will continue to support LS Travel Retail ASPAC in the group's global duty-free and luxury business expansion.

The travel retailer operates around 2,000 leisure, duty-free, specialty and convenience retail stores under several retail brands worldwide.
