RBR Staff Writer Published 23 February 2012

Payot Naville Distribution (PND), a subsidiary of LS Travel Retail, has acquired Geneva International airport-based Airport Fashion.

Airport Fashion operates two airside retail outlets at the airport including a 4520ft² multi-brand unit and a Ralph Lauren boutique, reported dfnionline.com.

The acquisition is expected to extend Lagardère Services' luxury and fashion travel retail operations in Europe.

The LS Travel Retail subsidiary will work with LS Travel Retail's duty-free and luxury division Aelia and is likely to benefit from key know-how in fashion operations, marketing and buying.

PND chief executive Jean-Marie Lebec said with Airport Fashion, the firm will expand the range of services and capabilities offered by its retail division.

PND's retail network comprises of Relay, Naville, Payot Libraire, Nature & Découvertes and News Café in travel retail.

The transaction is due to complete on 29 February 2012.
