Nuance Group opens 2 arrivals duty-free outlets in Switzerland

RBR Staff Writer Published 02 June 2011

Nuance Group, the Switzerland-based travel retailer, has opened arrivals duty-free outlets at Geneva International Airport and Zürich Airport in Switzerland, reports said.

The two stores stock a wide range of items across tobacco, perfumes, skin care and liquor segments. The company plans to invest about $23.6m to develop or renovate over 7,500sq m of retail space in Europe. In addition to these two new outlets, the company also plans to open a second arrivals outlet in Zürich Airport this summer.

The company claimed that with over 35 million passengers estimated to come through both these international gateways this year, there is a clear opportunity to further grow the company's business in Switzerland. Nuance Group operates over 370 outlets across 54 airports in 17 countries.
