RBR Staff Writer Published 20 July 2011

The Nuance Group, the international airport retailer, has opened its second arrivals duty-free store at Zürich airport. The new store has increased the retailer’s arrivals duty-free space at Zürich airport to 1,800 sq m across two terminals.

The walk-through store spans 1,205 sq m and is located in the baggage hall at terminal one. It features a Mövenpick wine shop-in-shop concept offering the brand's full wine and champagne range that is claimed as a first for travel-retail; a new concept for Lindt Delice macarons; and boutique concepts for liquor, tobacco, fragrances and cosmetics as well as a new concept for vodka.

It also features a separate walk-in humidor; and a wide range of specialty items including a dedicated area for Swarovski jewelry as reported in DFNI Online.com.

Zürich airport head of commercial Patrick Graf said, "Both stores have been developed in close cooperation with The Nuance Group to set a new benchmark in terms of quality, innovation and service."
