The Nuance Group, LFP opens a new store at Lisbon airport

Switzerland-based travel retailer The Nuance Group, in partnership with Lojas Francas de Portugal (LFP), a duty-free store operator has opened a new store at Lisbon airport’s North pier, in Portugal.

The new retail store which is spread across 145 square meters (1,560 square feet) area of retail space stocks a huge assortment of products like fragrances, confectionery, liquor, tobacco, technology and fashion products as well as a 'Just Taste Portugal' fine foods shop-in-shop. Nuno Amaral, director of LFP said that the product range in the new store has been adapted to the passenger profile using the pier, which is used mainly by travelers going to Brazil, Angola and the UK. The Nuance Group is operating 430 shops across 59 airports and 19 countries around the globe and employing 5,200 staff. In addition to its duty- and tax-free operation, the company operates specialist shops as well as food & beverage operations, distribution, inflight services and shops in other travel retail channels. Lojas Francas de Portugal (LFP) operates retail store in Portuguese airports, managing and operating 18 outlets in the Lisbon, Porto, Faro, Ponta Delgada, Santa Maria and Horta airports. The company also controls the onboard sales for TAP and STP Airways flights.
